Brown Wool Felt Top Hat - Christys

Top Hats for sale come in various types and colours, this Brown Topper is made from an excellent wool felt (not fur felt) that provides a timeless classic robust and low maintenance topper (Typically Wool felts need brushing as opposed additional care for polished hats like Antique / Vintage Silk Plush Top Hats and "Melusine" fur felt hats that have a luxurious high sheen and lustre). It comes with a standard premium leather sweatband and finished with a Black wool felt "Mourning" hatband.

The Topper, at about 5¼" crown height, provides a classic Victorian or Edwardian Period fashion wear style, a refined look perfect for The Social Season in the UK, including Coach / Carriage Driving and other Formal occasions.

SIZING NOTE: As these are rigid stiff Hats, even if you have the correct size; They do not readily confirm to your head SHAPE (like a soft Panama Hat). If you are buying online and not visiting to have our fitting service, often one may need ONE SIZE UP to fit the max "outer" periphery of your head shape, so it may fit "front to back" but then have slight gaps on the side.

We can also provide an additional optional fitting service, where we can measure your head shape, as well as your hat size, then remould the correct size Top Hat to your head shape to make it fit more comfortably.
