Foreign Service Sun Helmet (Pith Helmet) - Boer War Style

Sun Helmets for sale have many patterns and styles. The Foreign Service Style helmet was worn by the British Army.

Initially made from cork (typical for "Home Service"), then pith (typical for "Foreign Service"), this modern Helmet is made in overseas with traditional pith consuruction. The helmet is covered by tradition White cloth and has a "Mediterranean" style White Band around the crown. Each shell size cover multiple sizes using an variable cotton sweatband inside.

Also traditionally known as a pith helmet, tropical helmet, summer helmet, Topee, sola Topee, solar Topi.

As standard the helmet comes with a cloth covered non-functioning domed aerator, the Chin Strap is often set above the brim peak and is considered a non-functioning feature.
